I don't actually know if I have mold, should I still start this?

Yes. A lot of people land here with a musty smell, new symptoms, or just a feeling something's off, not a confirmed test. The Basics is built for exactly that stage, foundational nutrients and detox support that make sense whether or not mold turns out to be the cause. You don't need certainty to start supporting your body.

How do I know if I need The Basics or Comprehensive?

The Basics covers foundational nutrients and detox support for the liver and kidneys, a solid starting point at any stage. Comprehensive builds on that same foundation and adds binding, fungal balance, and probiotic support, better suited if you have a confirmed exposure or want a fuller first response from day one. Neither is a smaller version of the other, they're just two different starting points.

I have a confirmed exposure, is this enough, or do I need something more intensive?

Comprehensive is a legitimate full first response, not a light version of something else. That said, if you have a mycotoxin test result, head to our Mycotoxin Kits and Guides instead, they're built around your specific result, going deeper than a broad-spectrum bundle can. Many people start here and move to a targeted kit once they have results, there's no wrong order.

How is this different from Mold Defense or Mold Reset?

Mold Defense is built for daily use while you're still in a mold affected environment. Mold Reset is built for after you've left or remediated. Mold Exposure sits in front of both, a starting point for anyone who isn't sure yet which stage they're at, or who wants broad support before narrowing in on either one.

Can I switch from The Basics to Comprehensive later?

Yes, there's no commitment either way. Plenty of people start with The Basics and move to Comprehensive once they know more, or once they're ready for a fuller response. Starting simple now doesn't lock you out of going further later.

Do I need to get tested before starting?

No. Testing helps you go deeper later (see our Mycotoxin Kits and Guides), but it's not required to start here. Mold Exposure was built for the stage before you know for sure.

What if it turns out this isn't mold at all?

Foundational nutrients and detox support aren't mold-specific, they're generally useful even if mold turns out not to be the cause. Starting here isn't a wasted step either way.

Can I use this alongside other Alight products?
